NEW FOR 2018: PIANO CAMP!
Due to the unprecedented growth and support of Bemidji MusiCamp, we are adding piano to our summer programming!
Piano camp will occur simultaneously with band and choir camp this summer and campers will have the option to participate in up to two of the three camps.
The mission of Bemidji MusiCamp is to provide positive and accessible musical opportunities for all young musicians. We are led by regional music educators and are one of the oldest music camps in the country having been in existence since 1948.
Held on
the beautiful shores of Lake Bemidji, camp includes individual instruction, chamber ensembles, and large group
experiences. In addition to performance opportunities, students will
participate in classes that cover a wide range of topics, including
music theory, electronic instruments, conducting, and music
technology. Boasting an enthusiastic and caring faculty,
Bemidji MusiCamp offers students a unique opportunity for musical and
social growth. The camp is overseen and staffed by regional music
educators with a passion for providing positive musical experiences
beyond the classroom.
Bemidji MusiCamp is open to students who have completed at least 5th grade (or one year of band instruction), through students who have recently finished 12th grade. We are proud to offer a great experience both musically and socially at one of the most affordable rates in the world.
