Applying for a Scholarship
Bemidji MusiCamp offers several scholarships for students and are awarded based on demonstrated financial need.
Interested students should complete the Scholarship Application below, which includes a page to be completed by the student’s music teacher.
Scholarship applications must be postmarked by May 1 to be considered.
When will we find out if we have received a scholarship?
We wait a few days after our May 15 deadline so that all scholarship applications have had ample time to arrive in the mail. Then our scholarship committee promptly meets and assigns awards to the applicants. Once the scholarships have been assigned, we prepare and email out our award letters. We ask that applicants please be patient while we go through this process. All applicants should receive notification around mid-May.
What about the Early Bird Registration deadline? There may not be much time after receiving the scholarship notice.
If the need arises, we may extend the Early Bird rates for scholarship applicants. This will be detailed in the scholarship award letter.
Other Organizations
Many of your local organizations and clubs (Lions, Eagles, Rotary, School Boosters, etc.) may offer scholarships to summer enrichment programs, so those are always good places to check if you are seeking additional support.
Please keep in mind that these organizations may have their own deadlines and requirements, so be sure to be proactive in reaching out to the in advance.
